These are the results of the CT scan that I had on January 19th. I need to keep reminding myself the the medical community uses words differently that what the average person does. "Worrisome" is worrisome, but how "worrisome" is it?
Impression
IMPRESSION:
1. Mixed ground-glass and solid masslike area in the right upper lobe is
worrisome for malignancy. Tissue sampling is recommended.
2. There is a reticular area seen also in the right posterior apical
region, not definitely changed from December 2015 which is nonspecific and
merits additional follow up.
3. No definite suspicious adenopathy is seen.
4. Mild coronary artery calcification of the LAD.
5. Tiny subpleural nodular densities are noted on the right as discussed,
could be followed as clinically appropriate.
